About The Owner

I am Brenda Lary, a native of Marion County Florida. I am the owner of Right At Home Housing LLC. I am a mother of two beautiful adult children and grandmother to five vibrant grandchildren. I earned my Bachelor's degree in Human Services in 2011 and, although I'd worked in the field of Social Services for many years prior to earning my degree, I realized it was necessary for me to further my education to move in the direction I desired. My professional experience includes over 20 combined years of working in addictions, children in foster care, homelessness and mental health. I also worked for the Florida Department of Corrections for 13 years before leaving to pursue a career in Social Work.

Unfortunately, it is not uncommon for individuals to experience loss, trauma or life stressors that lead them to becoming homeless or being at risk of homelessness. It is my great passion to empower, give hope and second chances to the disadvantage.
